According to reports, Adeyemi stated that he has never had any personal or official relationship with President Bola Tinubu's Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. He reportedly denied ever speaking with him, meeting him, or possessing any documentary or electronic evidence linking the Chief of Staff to the alleged activities.

The interview also reportedly dismissed claims circulating online that Adeyemi had incriminating evidence against Gbajabiamila. In addition, a document described on social media as an engagement letter from the Office of the Chief of Staff was reportedly characterized during the interview as inauthentic.
