New developments have emerged in the controversy surrounding allegations linking the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, to an alleged fake Federal Government agency.
According to reports from a recent interview with Prince Matthew Adeyemi, who has been identified in media reports as the alleged operator of the agency, he denied having any relationship with the President's Chief of Staff. Adeyemi reportedly stated that he has never met Gbajabiamila, never spoken with him, and has no evidence to suggest that the Chief of Staff played any role in the alleged operation.
The interview also reportedly disputed claims circulated on social media that Adeyemi possessed evidence against the Chief of Staff. Reports alleging that an engagement letter originated from the Office of the Chief of Staff were likewise described during the interview as false.
The latest claims have generated renewed debate among Nigerians, with some commentators calling for greater caution in reporting allegations involving public officials before investigations are concluded. As of the time of this report, no official investigative authority has publicly announced findings linking Gbajabiamila to the alleged fake agency.
